How I got here....

I was shocked, to say the least. when at 38 years old, I was diagnosed with rectal cancer. I learned of this diagnosis in September 2020, and I my mindset was "whatever, no big deal".

I've been through this before - Diabetes Type 1 diagnosed at age 9, I knew the drill: 

1. Accept it

    

2. Find out what needs to be done

    

3.  Get 'er done

    

Accepting the severity of the current situation, was one of the most challenging hurdles that I've had to face.

​Although I would love to talk about makeup and beauty products, I thought it was important to share my weird experiences with anyone that might be in a similar situation. I am NOT a writer  - Fuck, I can't even spell half the time (thanks French immersion)! P.S. This blog will have foul language (I will write as though I am speaking, and I have a very bad potty mouth!) * Sorry mom and dad, I know you hate that.

Anyways, I thought I'd share my thoughts, experiences, and as many funny moments as possible.
