The generosity and kindness that I've been shown, is mind-blowing. Friends, family, family friends, acquaintances, coworkers, people I've never met - they all show up for me. From the most thoughtful care packages with hand written notes, flowers, food, phone calls, text messages and emails, to an actual iPad (yes, I'm not even joking), my people stepped up to the plate, and floored me with their generosity and love. I couldn't have a better support system in place, and I am so lucky. I really didn't want, or expect anything. I just wanted to get this over with, and never speak of it again. I didn't know what I needed, until I was told that I needed it, and I received it, and now I am so grateful. I don't know why I'm so shocked. I know how amazing my people are, but you never really realize it, until you go through something life-altering and they show you how much they love you. I do feel like the "positive vibes" that my people send me, actually works. I FEEL this energy, and I use it to get through the worst days. I am so early in my treatment process, I will need all of the well-wishes and positive thoughts I can get. So, thank you to all of you, if you're reading this. I love you more than anything in the world.
